CPOs charging infrastructure updates in Europe - December 2024
Christmas season is here, and Santa Claus has arrived early at the Vatican with a new electric Popemobile from Mercedes-Benz for Pope Francis.
Some of the highlighted news of December includes TotalEnergies’ 100th anniversary, InstaVolt’s recognition as the Public and On-Street Charging Provider of the Year by GreenFleet, and milestones such as 700 high-powered IONITY charging stations in Europe, over 700 PowerGo charging points installed in 2024, 50,000 downloads of the bp pulse app, and 8,500 Bump charging points deployed this year.
Tesla, Zunder, Fastned, Allego, Electra and Powerdot join forces through AORU (Association of Ultra Fast Charging Operators) to enhance Spanish charging infrastructure, reduce bureaucracy, and foster deeper collaboration with AEDIVE (Business Association for the Development and Promotion of Electric Mobility).
This last month of the year also brings some discounts on EV charging for drivers.
